The numbers for the mishap have been changed. Forty two are dead with 10 still missing. There were a total of 39 people that were saved. The loss of this ship is causing hardship to the people as now they must travel to Masbate to travel or ship goods. This ads cost and an extra hour to the trip. As is usual, fish sales have fallen dramatically in the nearby areas as people are afraid to eat fish that may have eaten human remains.
